The American FFA Degree Recognizing Excellence in Agricultural Leadership
The American FFA Degree is the highest degree attainable in the National FFA Organization, earned by less than 1% of FFA members nationwide.
To be eligible, the FFA members must have earned money in the industry and worked at least 2,250 hours outside of class time through a supervised agricultural experience (SAE) program in which they own their own business, hold a professional position as an employee or conduct research. Recipients must also complete community service and demonstrate outstanding leadership abilities and active civic involvement through a list of FFA and community activities.
Earning the American FFA Degree is a symbol of hard work, growth, and leadership — representing the best of what FFA members strive to achieve.
We are so proud of EHHS Alumni Gage Medlin and NHHS Alumni Kiley Padgett for the years of commitment and dedication it took to reach this accomplishment! Earning the American Degree shows dedication to the FFA, respect for the agriculture industry, and superior leadership.
