HCSD Outdoor Activities For Today Update

Hall County School Flame

The Hall County School District has been in contact with GEMA and local officials regarding potential air quality concerns related to the chemical fire in Conyers, Georgia. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is currently monitoring the air for chlorine and other compounds.

According to the EPA, the detected chemical levels are not expected to pose a significant risk to most individuals. As a result, outdoor after-school extracurricular activities will proceed as planned. However, parents of children with health conditions may wish to keep their children indoors as a precaution.
