Hall County 2025 AP School Honor Roll

The Hall County School District is proud to announce our high schools that have been named to the 2025 AP School Honor Roll. The 2025 AP School Honor Roll recognitions are based on May 2025 AP Exam test data. Congratulations to our students, teachers, and administrators!
“AP gives students opportunity to engage with college-level work, earn college credit and placement, and build professional career skills they can use no matter what path they choose after high school,” said Trevor Packer, head of the AP program. “Congratulations to this year’s AP School Honor Roll recipients for proving it’s possible to expand participation in these rigorous courses and still drive strong performance.”
AP exams are administered by the College Board. AP courses are one way students can access college-level rigor at the high school level; students who receive a 3, 4, or 5 on an AP exam are eligible to receive college credit.
This recognition is especially meaningful for Hall County Schools, where many high school students also pursue other rigorous academic pathways, including dual enrollment and the International Baccalaureate program at three high schools, demonstrating the district’s broad and balanced commitment to college-level opportunities.
Hall County Schools recognized on the 2025 AP School Honor Roll are listed in the table below.
| School | 2025 Honor Roll Recognition |
| Cherokee Bluff High School | Bronze |
| Chestatee High School | Bronze |
| East Hall High School | Silver |
| Flowery Branch High School | Bronze |
The 2025 AP School Honor Roll recognitions are based on the following criteria set by the College Board. Schools must meet or exceed the criteria for the respective recognition levels for all three categories of College Culture, College Credit, and College Optimization.
- College Culture: Percent of students in the graduating class who took an AP exam at any point in high school: Bronze is 40%; Silver is 50%
- College Credit: Percent of students in the graduating class who scored 3+ on any AP Exam in high school: Bronze is 25%; Silver is 30%
- College Optimization: Percent of students in the graduating class who took 5 or more AP Exams in high school, where at least 1 exam was taken in 9th or 10th grade: Bronze is 2%; Silver is 5%
Congratulations to these outstanding students on their hard work and achievement.
