IB Students Share The Constitution
Today, our IB Career-related Programme and Diploma Programme juniors participated in a team-building activity on the Gainesville Square.
While there, students passed out Pocket Constitutions to people they met—a perfect way to wrap up Constitution Week. They had a wonderful time working together, exploring the community, and interacting with local residents.
Here are a few reflections from our students about what they noticed and learned about our community:
• “There are very nice people in our community.”
• “I learned that Hall County has lots of amazing places where people can meet and communicate.”
• “It has a lot of history and is very diverse in terms of businesses. There is also a strong art presence in the square and around the town.”
• “It is a rather tight-knit community by the looks of it. People were willing to let us share the Constitution, which was nice.”
• “I learned and noticed that Hall County is a very culturally diverse place.”
• “A lot of unity and kindness. Most people said ‘hi’ or ‘good morning.’”
• “Hall County is a very friendly community.”
Thank you for helping facilitate this wonderful opportunity for our students!
