01/28 – Wednesday Weather Update
The Hall County School District will resume normal operations tomorrow, Thursday, January 29, 2026. Students and staff will return to in-person learning at their respective schools.
County officials continue to work on a small number of roads; however, some may still be unsuitable for bus travel tomorrow morning. The following roads have been deemed impassable for buses. Students who live along these routes will be excused from school tomorrow and will be given ample time to make up any missed assignments.

– Oak Harbour Court
– Young Rd.
– Calvary Dr.
– Sawyer Mill Dr.
– Lawson Park Dr.
– Wade Orr
– Trojan Dr.

Any parent of a student driver who feels their neighborhood or roadway is unsafe may choose to keep their student at home without penalty. Parents should notify the school if they decide to keep their child at home.

El Distrito Escolar del Condado de Hall reanudará sus actividades normales mañana, jueves 29 de enero de 2026. Los estudiantes y el personal regresarán a las clases presenciales en sus respectivas escuelas.

Los funcionarios del condado continúan trabajando en algunas carreteras; sin embargo, es posible que algunas aún no sean aptas para el tránsito de autobuses mañana por la mañana. Las siguientes carreteras se consideran intransitables para los autobuses. Los estudiantes que viven a lo largo de estas rutas estarán exentos de asistir a clases mañana y tendrán tiempo suficiente para ponerse al día con las tareas pendientes.

Cualquier padre de un estudiante que conduzca y considere que su vecindario o carretera no es seguro puede optar por mantener a su hijo en casa sin ninguna penalización. Los padres deben notificar a la escuela si deciden que su hijo no asista a clases.
