01/28 – HCSD Update
The Hall County School District will resume normal operations tomorrow, Thursday, January 29, 2026. Students and staff will return to in-person learning at their respective schools. All practices and extracurricular activities tomorrow will be held as scheduled. County officials continue to work on a small number of roads; however, some may still be unsuitable for bus travel tomorrow morning. A list of these roads will be shared with families as soon as possible. Students who live along these routes will be excused from school tomorrow and will be given ample time to make up any missed assignments.
Many thanks to the numerous partners and agencies that assisted us through this winter weather challenge. We are grateful for the countless hours of work and careful assessment given to maintain the well-being of students and staff. Finally, thank you to all parents and students for your patience and support. We look forward to a great day of learning tomorrow in the Hall County School District.

El Distrito Escolar del Condado de Hall reanudará sus actividades normales mañana, jueves 29 de enero de 2026. Los estudiantes y el personal regresarán a las clases presenciales en sus respectivas escuelas. Todas las prácticas y actividades extracurriculares se llevarán a cabo según lo programado. Las autoridades del condado continúan trabajando en la reparación de algunas carreteras; sin embargo, es posible que algunas aún no sean aptas para el transporte escolar mañana por la mañana. Se compartirá una lista de estas carreteras con las familias lo antes posible. Los estudiantes que viven a lo largo de estas rutas tendrán permiso para faltar a la escuela mañana y se les dará tiempo suficiente para ponerse al día con las tareas pendientes.
Muchas gracias a las numerosas organizaciones y agencias que nos brindaron su apoyo durante este desafío climático invernal. Agradecemos las incontables horas de trabajo y la cuidadosa evaluación realizada para garantizar el bienestar de los estudiantes y el personal.
