I look forward to expanding this impact and continuing to support students across the district.<\/span><span class=\"s9\">\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s3\"><span class=\"s9\">Belew brings more than 25 years of experience in public education, including service as a principal with Hall County Public Schools from 2018 to the present, assistant principal from 2014 to 2018, media specialist with Hall County and Clayton County Schools from 2005 to 2014, and classroom teacher with Clayton County Schools from 2000 to 2005.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s3\"><span class=\"s9\">\u201cThe <\/span><span class=\"s9\">role <\/span><span class=\"s9\">of the Director of Student Services <\/span><span class=\"s9\">requires <\/span><span class=\"s9\">a <\/span><span class=\"s9\">deep <\/span><span class=\"s9\">understanding of pedagogy<\/span><span class=\"s9\"> and assessment, excellent logistical and organizational skills, compassion, and a heart for serving others,\u201d said Assistant Superintendent for Teaching a<\/span><span class=\"s9\">n<\/span><span class=\"s9\">d Learning, Suzanne Jarrard. \u201cJared Belew checks all the boxes. Over the course of his <\/span><span class=\"s9\">career,<\/span><span class=\"s9\"> he has demonstrated an ability to build relationships with stakeholders that support meeting the needs of all<\/span><span class=\"s9\"> students<\/span><span class=\"s9\">.<\/span><span class=\"s9\"> We have no doubt Jared will continue the <\/span><span class=\"s9\">good work<\/span><span class=\"s9\"> that is the hallmark of the HCSD Student Services Department.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s3\"><span class=\"s9\">Belew earned a Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from Mercer University in 2012. He also holds a <\/span><span class=\"s9\">M<\/span><span class=\"s9\">aster<\/span><span class=\"s9\"> of Education <\/span><span class=\"s9\">in Library Media and a <\/span><span class=\"s9\">B<\/span><span class=\"s9\">achelor<\/span><span class=\"s9\"> of Arts<\/span><span class=\"s9\"> in Early Childhood Education from Georgia State University, earned in 2004 and <\/span><span class=\"s9\">2000<\/span><span class=\"s9\"> respectively.
