Carter will take the place of Suzanne Jarrard, who was recently named Assistant Superintendent for Teaching and Learning. The recommendation will be made at the Monday, June 9, 2025 board meeting.<\/p>\n<p>Carter, currently serving as principal of Flowery Branch High School, will begin his new role effective June 10, 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Carter brings nearly three decades of educational experience to his new position. He began his career in education 28 years ago and has served in multiple leadership roles across the state. His administrative journey began as a curriculum assistant principal at Southeast Whitfield High School. He joined Hall County Schools in 2009 as an assistant principal at Johnson High School before becoming the second principal of Flowery Branch High School in 2013.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am honored to have the opportunity to serve in a supporting role for all of our secondary principals,\u201d said Carter. \u201cI\u2019ve worked alongside many of these leaders for the past 12 years, and I\u2019m incredibly grateful for the chance to continue supporting them in this new capacity.
