The recommendation will be made at the Monday, April 28, 2025 board meeting. Gibson will step into her new role following the retirement of current Principal Jeff Cooper at the end of this school year.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am so thankful to Mr. Schofield and the Board of Education for the opportunity to serve as the principal of East Hall High School,\u201d said Gibson. \u201cI look forward to being a part of the amazing work that\u2019s already taking place at EHHS and working alongside the staff, students, families, and community members to continue to build on the tradition, pride, and excellence that is East Hall.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Gibson brings two decades of experience in Hall County Schools, all of which have been spent at Chestatee High School. She began her career as an English teacher from 2005 to 2015, then served as Media Specialist from 2015 to 2019. Since 2019, she has been an Assistant Principal, where she continues to serve today.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJennifer Gibson has shown outstanding leadership at Chestatee High School,\u201d said Superintendent Will Schofield. \u201cHer ability to connect with students, lead instructional improvement, and build relationships with the entire school community make her the right choice.
