This event, held at Lanier College and Career Academy on Wednesday, March 19th, marked a key milestone for students who have been actively engaged in hands-on learning experiences all year long.<\/p>\n<p>The Honors WBL program is designed as a capstone to Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education (CTAE) coursework, giving them the opportunity to gain practical skills and insights while applying their classroom knowledge in real-world settings. Throughout the academic year, students have been immersed in various industries, gaining invaluable work experience and collaborating with professionals across fields such as construction, healthcare, marketing, and engineering.<\/p>\n<p>Each student\u2019s ePortfolio serves as a comprehensive digital reflection of their achievements, showcasing the projects, skills, and competencies they have developed during their internships and years in CTAE. These ePortfolios not only highlight the students&#8217; growth and development but also offer a glimpse into the future workforce and the potential these students have to offer.<\/p>\n<p>By presenting their ePortfolios to local business leaders, students have the chance to make lasting connections, showcase their talents, and get valuable feedback as they prepare for the next step in their careers. Local business partners were impressed by the students\u2019 professional presentations, noting their ability to articulate what they have learned, the challenges they have overcome, and the impact of their contributions to the organizations they worked with.
