The recommendation will be made at the Monday, March 10, 2025 board meeting. Boleman will take the place of Principal Jennifer Deaton, who will retire at the end of the school year.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am truly honored to join Sugar Hill Academy of Talent and Career and become part of such a dedicated school community,\u201d said Boleman. \u201cI look forward to building relationships with students, staff, and families as we work together to create an engaging and supportive learning environment. My goal is to expand upon the current culture of academic excellence at Sugar Hill, while ensuring every student has the opportunity to recognize and maximize their potential.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Boleman began his journey with Hall County Schools as a high school student, working as an afterschool instructor at Spout Springs Elementary. While attending the University of North Georgia, he continued serving the district as a substitute teacher and afterschool instructor. His career in education includes six years as a health and physical education teacher at McEver Elementary before moving into administration, serving as an assistant principal at both Flowery Branch Elementary and Oakwood Elementary.<\/p>\n<p>In December 2018, Boleman was named interim principal at Oakwood Elementary and was appointed principal in May 2019, his current position.
