Our primary goal is to provide the optimum physical environment for learning to take place.<\/p>\n<p>Effective and efficient building and property maintenance is key to the success of this endeavor. This is achieved primarily through the activities of a highly skilled staff in the technical trades of HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, low voltage, grounds \/ landscaping, and energy management. Out-sourced contracting is also utilized in certain areas where needed.<\/p>\n<p>An equally important responsibility of the department is capital improvements. This includes construction projects from minor renovations to major modifications, additions and construction of new facilities.<\/p>\n<p>Each project is approached with a common goal of obtaining the most efficient, cost effective, highest quality solution with careful consideration of long term operational and maintenance costs.
