Elementary & Magnet Programs of Choice Information For Fall 2019

The Hall County Elementary Magnet/Program of Choice and the Middle School Magnet application process is now open on each school’s website with an application deadline of March 15, 2019. Many of our magnet schools and programs of choice are holding parent information meetings this winter/spring. For a list of meeting dates and times, please go to each school’s website.

Elementary and Middle Magnet Schools: Students who live in a magnet school’s attendance zone do not need to apply, but students who live in the Hall County School District but are outside the program’s attendance zone may apply for admission. Parents of students who live outside the school’s attendance zone must provide transportation.

Elementary Programs of Choice: All interested students must apply to an elementary program of choice. If a student does not live in that school’s attendance zone, then parents must provide transportation. The elementary programs of choice include:

  • Advanced Scholars Academy (ASA) at Riverbend Elementary
  • Advanced Scholars Program (ASP) at Friendship Elementary
  • Dual Language Spanish Immersion Path at White Sulphur Elementary
  • Discovering Our Gifts Academy (DOG) at Lula Elementary (For Lula students only)
