At the December 10, 2018 meeting, the Hall County Board of Education gave unanimous approval of Superintendent Will Schofield’s recommendation to name Jeremy Boleman Interim Principal at Oakwood Elementary School, effective immediately.
Currently, Mr. Boleman, who is a 2002 graduate of Johnson High School, serves as assistant principal at the school. He began his career in education in August of 2007 as a physical education teacher at McEver Elementary School. In July of 2013, he moved into education leadership as assistant principal at Flowery Branch Elementary School, later transferring to the same position at Oakwood.
Jeremy Boleman earned a Bachelor of Science and Physical Education Degree in 2007 from North Georgia College and State University (now University of North Georgia).
In 2010, he earned a Masters of Education from the University of North Georgia, and in 2016, he added a Specialist in Leadership from Valdosta State University.
Jeremy Boleman and his wife Stacey have three daughters—Addison, age 10; Evie, 7; and Hayden, 5. The Boleman’s live in South Hall.
