School Improvement Goals

Each year, the leadership team at Wauka Mountain reviews the data to determine new school improvement initiatives. These initiatives guide our staff training, budgeting, and our general focus for improving the instruction at our school. The two general goals this year are:

90% of our students will be reading on grade level as determined by a reading assessment called the DRA2.

  Within this goal are goals specifically written for reading, spelling, and writing.

90% of our students will meet or exceed state standards in math.

Specific goals are to implement Singapore Math, continuing with math journaling and continuing  math exemplars.
