Student Council: The Student Council is composted of representatives from all three grade levels. Students who apply for the position are interviewed by sponsors and must have recommendations from all academic teachers. Student Council sponsors many activities, such as school dances and Secret Santa. It also function as the liaison between administrators and the student body for student concerns. |

Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) - FBLA is the oldest and largest national organization for students preparing for careers in business leadersthip. FBLS prepares students for "real world" professional experiences. Students attend conferences at state and nationally sponsored events. Members have the opportunity to compete for awards andrecognition on the local, state and national levels

Academic Team - is a competion team requiring knowledge in several areas. In order to join, students must be recommended by a teacher. it is comprised of 12-14 students who enjoy challenging academic games. Thes students compete with other area schools. The team practices twice a week during the fall

Environmental Club - Club meets weekly from 3:45 - 5:00 pm and is open to all grades. All students need is an interest in exploring and working with the environment. We explore with activities, projects, films and field trips. The topics explored are geography, plant and animal life and taking care of natural resources

Yearbook Staff - Made up of hardworking students in each grade level who are selected through an application process. The staff works all year identifying photos, designing and laying out pages, and brainstorming exciting themes so that students at WHMS will have a book that captures the events that occur during the school year.

Technology Student Association - members work on projects such as designing CO2 dragsters, designing balso airplanes, solving technical problems with specific materials, and other challenges,. There are several field trips we may have an opportunity to go on such as the state TSA competions. Club members also work on several community service projects such as Relay for Life and Toys for Tots
