This webpage will become a primary source of Senior Information as the year progresses, so please share it with your fellow classmates. SAT / ACT:
Dates (Test & Registration Deadlines) are now available for this year. Please click on the Announcements tab on this webpage for specific testing dates. Registration for the SAT is located at www.collegeboard.com; for the ACT it's located at www.actstudent.org. There is an additional fee for registrations completed past the first deadline. FBHS High School Code is 111281. Don't forget to put your code on every registration and list colleges who should receive your scores. More information is available at http://GAcollege411.org. GHSGT (Graduation Test):
Dates are now available for 2009-10 school year yet. Please click on the Announcements tab on this webpage for specific testing dates.
Socials:
Activities are planned for almost every month. Second Semester dates are always subject to change as Winter/Spring Sports schedules become available. Be sure you have paid your dues in full by the deadlines prior to each event so you will be eligible to participate in these events. Please click on the Announcements tab on this webpage for specific even dates and deadlines for paying dues to participate.
Grades / Attendance:
Be sure to keep a close check on grades and attendance through the Infinite Campus portal. Parent portal information is available through the Front Office (770-967-8000), and student portal information is available from your advisor. Check out the student agenda concerning the Attendance Policy (8-day Rule). Don't loose credit due to poor attendance.
EOCTs/Exams:
Dates are now available for the 2009-2010 school year. ALL STUDENTS who are in an EOCT class are required by law to take the EOCT, even if students are failing the class!!! Taking the test is not optional. EOCT courses are: ELA --9th Grade Lit & Am. Lit; Math -- Alg. I & Geometry; Sci. -- Biology & Phy. Sci.; Soc. Stud. -- US His. & Economics.
Final Exams in non-EOCT classes will be taken on the last two days of each semester. The bell schedule for these will be the regular schedule. Please click on the Announcements tab on this webpage for specific testing dates.
