Lanier Career Academy is located on Atlanta Highway just south of the Chicopee Woods Golf Course. The Academy was built on the former H.B. Reed property in close proximity to Gainesville College and Lanier Technical College . It is part of the Lanier Career Center that opened in August 2004. The teachers and staff are dedicated to offering the best academic preparation to students who attend college or who enter the workforce after graduating from high school.
Our goal is to provide a secondary education to students who need a program that allows them to meet their life responsibilities during the day. Students may earn either a college preparatory or technical preparatory diploma from Lanier Career Academy that is accredited by Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
In addition, a partnership between the Career Academy and Lanier Technical College allows students to work toward a high school diploma and a technical certificate at the same time. The Center also houses daytime and evening childcare, GED programs, Medicaid outreach, and a Hall County Sheriff's Department precinct.
We are committed to working with the community in providing special programs and services that help our students achieve their educational goals. We invite people to visit our school and talk with our staff and students to learn how our school truly makes each student feel valued and respected.
