Our Vision

Spout Springs Elementary will strive to create a safe, positive learning environment to challenge and meet the needs of every child through relevant instruction and active participation of teachers, students, parents and community.
 
 Our Beliefs
  1. Every individual is capable of learning and experiencing success.
  2. Every individual is unique, valued, and respected, and has the opportunity to learn.
  3. The success of the education process is dependent upon the participation of competent administrators, effective teachers, concerned parents, motivated students and an involved community.
  4. The school must be a safe, caring, nurturing environment that is conducive to learning.
  5. Curriculum, instruction, and assessment are aligned yet varied to meet the needs of all students.
  6. The primary function of the school is to prepare students to meet high academic standards through knowledge and skill application.
  7. Education is a lifelong process which emphasizes communication, cooperation, creativity, problem-solving, complex thinking skills, and leads to the development of responsible citizens.
  8. Shared decision making is based on what is best for a quality educational environment.
