Nidia Bland is a junior at FBHS, and she worked with Amigos for Christ during her HMP experience. This video depicts the inhumane environment of the city garbage dump in which the Nicaraguans lived prior to Amigos for Christ's humble involvement.
Through the various projects (including education, scholarship, water, spirituality, community development, home-building, health, and micro-enterprise and opportunity), Amigos has enabled Nicaraguans to raise their standard of living and become self-sufficient and proud of what their now brighter futures will hold. This video will be used during summer mission trip retreats.
