Kindergarten registration for Hall County School District children entering kindergarten next fall will be held March 27th and March 28th from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. On March 29th, registration will again be from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and an evening registration will be from 4:00 p.m.to 7:00 p.m.
Enrolling kindergarteners should accompany parents for pre-registration.
In order to be enrolled, children entering kindergarten must be five years of age on or before September 1, 2012, and. Parents must present
--child’s birth certificate for pre-registration
--Proof of current residence (lease agreement, power bill, etc.)
--Certificate of Immunization (Form 3231, Rev. 3-2007)
--Social security numbers (Parents may elect to sign a waiver if they prefer not to give the social security number.)
--Certificate of Ear, Eye and Dental Examinations (Form 3300) is required upon entering school in August.
A kindergarten teacher will administer a short school readiness assessment to each child as part of the enrollment process.
Also, children who will be entering first grade next fall, but are not currently enrolled in the Hall County School District, should pre-register during this same enrollment period.
Children entering first grade must be six years of age on or before September 1, 2012 in order to be enrolled
