Benefits for the Students

The IB Diploma Programme at North Hall High School:

  • Prepares students for college success
  • Develops a well-rounded student
  • Encourages community involvement
  • Encourages fluency in a second language

  • Internationally recognized by colleges

"At UGA students are evaluated in the context of what courses are offered at their high school. If an IB Programme is available we like to see that students are taking advantage of some of the more difficult courses that are offered. A student's GPA and their high school courses are the best predictors of how a student will perform in their first college semester."

Creativity, Action & Service Through creative activities, sports, volunteerism, etc., students build confidence in themselves while improving their communities (IBO requires 150 hours of service over students’ junior and senior years)
