Congratulations to Mr. Johnny Sutton who was inducted to the Georgia Agricultural Education Hall of Fame on January 17, 2012 in Thirteenth Annual Ceremony sponsored by the Georgia FFA Alumni Association. As an educator and mentor, the accomplishments of Johnny Sutton’s students speak for how greatly he has invested himself their lives for over thirty years! Great accomplishment Mr. Sutton, North Hall is proud of you!

Let’s show our Trojan Spirit as both of our Varsity Basketball Teams head to the Region Playoff’s! On Wednesday, February 15th our Boys will play at 7:30 and on Thursday, February 16th our Girls will play at 7:30. Come and show your support for two great teams and all their hard work this season. GO TROJANS!
- February 6-10 is National School Counseling Week. The focus of the week is “Be Brilliant” not only in your schoolwork and grades, but also be brilliant in how you treat people and the world you live in.”
- In order to be able to vote in the Primary coming up on Tuesday, March 6th, you must be registered to vote by Monday, February 6th. Eligible voters must be 18 on or before the day of the election. Those wishing to register to vote must be a citizen of the United States, a legal resident of Georgia and of the county in which you wish to vote, and at least 17 1/2 years of age. Come by Lynne Smith’s office in the Front Office for assistance
- Relay 4 Life is at it again, we are selling cupid grams and Valentine’s Day does not have to be about LOVE it can be an act of KINDESS or FRIENDSHIP. So if your mind is blocked on a gift for your RAK please stop by during lunch or in the mornings in the front lobby, or stop by room 116 (Greer) and sign a special note to be delivered Feb. 14. They are $2, (trueloves cupcake and candy) All proceeds to Relay for Life, (American Cancer Society)
- Soccer Season will open at North Hall on Thursday, February 9th. The Varsity plays Flowery Branch in the Brickyard with the Varsity Girls playing at 5:30 and the Varsity Boys at 7:30 p.m. Come and support your SOCCER teams!!
- Our guys wrestled hard against tough competition. The following wrestlers will go to the Sectionals Tournament at Dublin, Ga. this coming weekend:

- On February 1st the Hall Co. Sheriff's Office will open up the registration for the summer Teen Driver Program. Please go to the following link:www.advance4kids.com and click on the Teen Driver Tab at the top of the page. Pay careful attention to scroll thru the 8 class sessions. 4 will be held at Chestatee High School during the month of June and 4 will be held during the Month of July at South Hall Middle School. Should you have any questions or problems with the registration process please call me at the numbers listed below.

- To Juniors and Seniors: Sign-ups begin today, Monday, January 23, 2012 in the Student Services/Counseling Office for:
ASSET Test – Tuesday – February 7
AND
ASVAB Test – Tuesday – February 14
The tests will be given here at North Hall. Sign-up sheet will be out for two weeks beginning today in the Counseling Office.
- Seniors! If you missed your chance to order your Cap and Gown for Graduation, Jostens will be here on February 9th during lunch to take Cap & Gown orders.
- Breakfast is now available every morning with the new “The Cruising Cafe” located in front of Room 200.
- Did you know . . . that if you miss the morning announcements that you can see them on the internet at www.ghsa.tv/northhall Way to go Coach Bishop’s Class!
- Seniors who did not get to order graduation announcements will have to order them online at Jostens.com

Juniors who have not paid for the class ring can call 706.226.4446 Jostens in Dalton to make arrangements for payment.
- Seniors who earn any scholarships should notify Kathy Oxford in the counselor’s office. Every scholarship counts whether you plan to accept the scholarship or not please report it to Mrs. Oxford.
