Please remind all Juniors and Seniors that the deadline for purchasing Prom Tickets is Friday, 3/28/14. Tickets are $100 per couple or $60 for an individual. They may be purchased in Room 222. The prom is April 25, 2014.
The NHHS Music Literary Team did a fantastic job at Region Literary Meet last Friday! Hunter Romero, Chasen Campbell, Brannan Vitek and Lane Lake placed 3rd in Men’s Quartet, Natalie Black, Kassidy Hulsey and Megan Maxwell placed 3rd in Women’s Trio, and Caroline Coleman placed 2nd in Women’s Solo. Give these folks a high five if you see them today!
In Debate News: Zach Alexander made the competition to Semi Finals (top 12 competitors out of a field of 32) in Impromptu Speaking at the State Varsity Tournament.
FFA Week this week. Snow days and shows have thrown us way off. Here is the calendar:
Monday- Muddy Truck Day
Tuesday- Farm Animal Day (Dress up like an animal)
Wednesday- Boots and Buckles day
Thursday- Camo day
Friday- FFA Tshirt/ Blue and Gold day
Partners’ Club will meet Tuesday morning at 8:00 in Mrs. Stephens’ room.
North Hall Track competed in the Jerry Arnold Track meet at Mill Creek High School against 42 other schools on Saturday and had several athletes place. Harper Seymour and Destin Bennett placed second in the Discus and Gabrielle Hoffman placed second in the Pole Vault. Drew Bryant placed third in the Discus. Harper Seymour placed fourth in the Shot Put. The boys 4X800 relay team (Bailey Pless, Eli Parker, Corson Teasley, and Bryce Schuebert)placed 5th. Dylan Truelove placed 6th in the Shot Put and Quintin Miles placed 6th in the 3200. Zack Hill placed 8th in the 3200, Bryce Schuebert placed 8th in the 1600, and the girls 4X100 team (Annie Goswick, Olivia Bradley, Gabrielle Hoffman, and Trini Puente) also placed 8th. Both the boys and girls teams placed 12th out of 42 schools.
In Golf News: Camden Classic results: Team score of 331. Placed 12th overall. Hunter Young shot a 75, Clay Hoffman & Cord Sanford 82 .
Today starts the two day event for the Girls Golf Hall County Championships. The girls will be headed to Royal Lakes both Monday and Tuesday.
Beta Club Members need to make sure you have logged your service hours. Please come to the next meeting in Room 100 or before or after school to record them.

Tickets for the Wedding Singer are on sale in the front office for $8 each. Drama will be having this production at Brenau’s Burd Theatre on March 13 through March 16. The Wedding Singer is rated PG.
It’s time to apply for Student Council! If you want to be on the Student Council next year applications can be found on the Student Council bulletin board outside the front lobby. Applications are due March 17th.
Have a heart and donate to help fund research for Cystic Fibrosis. The 4th period that donates for the most hearts will get a pizza party. Donate in the lunchroom.
The IB juniors are hosting a canned food drive along with a pet food drive to benefit Meals on Wheels. The drive will be March 10- March 31st. Please bring nonperishable food items, as well as dry dog or cat food. For every five cans or 6 lobs of pet food you bring your name will be entered in a drawing to receive a prize basket that may include a gas card and other cool items. There will be a box in the front office for your cans and bags of pet food.

Tuesday, March 11: JV Baseball with Flowery Branch at 5:55. Admission $3
Tuesday, Mary 11: Varsity Soccer with Fannin County. Girls play at 5:30 and Boys at 7:30. Admission $5
Wednesday, March 12: Varsity Baseball with Fannin County. Admission $5
Thursday, March 13: C Team Baseball with Gilmer County at 5:00. Admission $3 (There is also Middle School Soccer at 5 and 6:15)
Friday, March 14: Varsity Baseball with West Hall 5:55. Admission is $5
