 N e w s / SRO Program Earns National Recognition |
|
Sheriff Steve Cronic has announced that the School Resource Officer Program, which provides law enforcement security for the system's schools, is being recognized with the Model School Resource Officer Agency Award by the National Association of School Resource Officers. The award will be presented at the association’s annual conference next month. The Sheriff's Department provides thirteen (13) officers who are stationed in the middle and high schools.
