Important Information for Parents on CRCT Summer School (Board of Education)

The state-required intervention for students who did not pass the CRCT in reading in grade 3 or reading and math in grades 5 or 8 will take place in system summer schools June 2 – 20. The retake of the CRCT is scheduled for June 19th and June 20th. The hours of summer school for students are 8:30 – noon.

Each middle school will host summer school for its own 8th grade students.

At "Night of Honor" Board Recognized Class of '58 (Board of Education)

At the annual event held on May 12, 2008 at the Chestatee High School Theatre, the Hall County Board of Education recognized a class from 50 years ago that was not able to graduate from their high school.

Davis Middle Sweeps to Girls Soccer Championship (Board of Education)

Congratulations to the C.W. Davis Middle School Falcons Girls Soccer Team that capped off an undefeated season, culminating in winning the Hall County Middle School Soccer Championship. FBHS JV Academic Team Wins State (Board of Education)

Flowery Branch High Principal Mark Coleman has announced that the Falcon’s JV Academic team, which competed in the Georgia Academic Team Association's tournament in McDonough, Georgia on April 19, 2008, won the statewide championship for the AAA division. The Flowery Branch team is the number one team for the entire state for the 2007-2008 school year.
