Board Adopts fy2009 Budget (Board of Education)
At the June 9, 2008 business meeting, the Hall County Board of Education adopted the budget for fy2009.
The budget, approximately $218 million, represents an increase of approximately 9% over the current fy2008 budget.

The Martin Elementary Odyssey of the Mind team placed 9th out of 55 elementary teams in World Finals Competition at the 2008 Odyssey of the Mind World Championships held June 3, 2008 at the University of Maryland. Board Approves Expansion of Drug Testing Program (Board of Education)
At the June 2, 2008 work session, the Hall County Board of Education approved expansion of the current mandatory random drug screening program to high school athletes to include students who are issued parking permits on high school campuses.
