Board Recognizes FBHS Engineering Students (Board of Education)
At the March 3, 2008 work session, the Hall County Board of Education honored Flowery Branch students Josh Gober, James deGrodd and Matt Blaisdell along with their sponsor Dr. Ben Wagner for their 4th place finish in the 2007-2008 JETS National Engineering Challenge. Hall Students Show Encouraging Results on End of Course Tests (Board of Education)
The Hall County School System met or exceeded standards in seven of eight content areas on End of Course Tests administered to high school students in the spring.
The results "contain some encouraging data" and serve as "a source of information that will allow us to continue to improve in all areas," said Gordon Higgins, spokesman for the school district.

Humane Society Sponsors Art Contest for Students (Board of Education)
The Humane Society of Hall County has announced a Be Kind to Animals Week art contest for kindergartners through 12th-graders. Themes for the artwork can include kindness to animals, pet adoptions, wildlife conservation or protecting endangered animals.
