Farewell to 5th grade "Walk of Fame" - Thursday, May 23rd 2:00PM

Please be reminded that parking for all Awards Day ceremonies and the 5th grade Farewell  Walk of Fame is limited to the lower parking lot.  The upper lot curb parking is prohibited due to the bus lanes being used throughout the day.  We do have some buses that run all day long, so the bus lanes cannot be blocked!  We also ask that our upper visitor spaces be used by our guests who may have limited physical abilities or health issues and for those parents who need to check-out their children. 

Starting in the fall of 2013, The Earhart-Edison Exploration Academy at North Hall Middle School will operate as a school-within-a-school on the NHMS campus, emphasizing a rigorous, project-based education with thematic instruction that integrates science, technology, engineering and mathematics exploration. Its purpose is to create an environment where students grow into problem-solvers and innovators. Inspired by the example of Thomas Edison and Amelia Earhart, students will become visionaries who understand that perseverance and passion can change the world for the better. Rising 6^thgrade students zoned for NHMS are eligible to apply.

Due to  inclement weather forecasts, the Earhart Edison Academy Parent Information night has been cancelled. The meeting has been rescheduled for next Thursday, April 18th at 6:30 in NHMS Media Center.

Applications are only necessary for students living outside the Mount Vernon attendance zone.  Currently enrolled students do not need to reapply.  Hall County Charter Schools will follow the dates listed below:
