Mt. Vernon's Chess was re-established in 2002 with 8 members. Membership
has tripled since then. Our members range from beginners to advanced players. We
have teaching sessions and computer programs for all levels. The chess game is a
great way to enhance critical thinking. Encourage your child to learn the
greatest game ever created.
Chess Club meets the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month.
