Welcome to the Lyman Hall community! We are so glad to have you here!

This web site will introduce you to our Administrative Staff, our teaching staff, and our support staff. All members of our staff are dedicated to providing an opportunity for success for every child and to empowering students to achieve their personal best.

Our teachers communicate areas of strength and areas that need additional practice (weaknesses) to parents weekly. Progress on achieving Grade Level Standards are addressed through report cards issued each six weeks.

An old African proverb states that “it takes a community to raise a child.” Our teachers and staff work together to create a community at Lyman Hall. However, our community is not complete without participation from our parents. We encourage each of you to play an active part in your child’s education. If you show – through your actions and your words – that what is happening at the school is a priority in your lives, your child will learn to value education.

We encourage each of you to become a community partner in educating your child by attending Literacy Information Nights which are offered at each grade level. These Literacy Information Nights provide you with information on the Grade Level Standards that must be mastered and provide you with tools that you can use at home to help your child achieve his or her personal best.

I encourage you to visit the school, volunteer in your child’s classroom, come to the Literacy Information Nights, help your child with homework, read with your child nightly, and to join PTO or our School Council. Your presence at school and school functions is important to your child and is valued by Lyman Hall staff.
