National SkillsUSA Competition in Kansas City!!

Amber won gold in the Preschool Teaching Assistant Category!!

Pictured with Amber are her parents, Sonja and Phillip Stamey who flew into Kansas City for the awards ceremony.

 

Johnson Sophomore, Erik Delgado, also competed
at SkillsUSA Nationals in Kansas City and
Placed 30th out of 43 in the National Field.

Erik, as a freshman, also did a great job at nationals placing 30th out of a national field of 43.  He was awarded a special certificate because of his written test scores being so high.  His competition was "Residential Wiring."

Over 15,000 attended the awards ceremony in Kansas City. 

Johnson High School should take great pride in the accomplishments of these two students.  They represented the Johnson Nation proudly this summer in Kansas City.
