
Tractor Competition
State Competition April 2012
1. Churchstian Maloch placed 5th in the State for her individual work in the fabrication of a Porch Swing.
2. Eden Hulsey passed the 2nd, and final part of the GGIA (Ga. Green Industry Association) test to receive her
Jr. GGIA Certification (which will look good on her resume' as she persues her teaching degree in Horticulture).
3. Lacey Campbell and Michaela Shockley teamed up to take a 2nd place ribbon with their
cantaloupe seed experiment in the Agri-Science Fair.
4. Loucas Griffin took a 4th place ribbon in the Agri-Science Fair with his project: A computer that is
attached to a plasma cutter that can cut any design into metal.
5. Jessica Elizondo and Melina Delgado teamed up to take a 5th place ribbon with their
Environmental Natural Resources project that focused on how engine oil dumped into the water supply can affect
the environment.
