The East Hall Wrestling Team competed in the Hall County Championships this past weekend.We were competitive but struggled in the duals, going 2-5, with wins over Riverside Military Academy and Johnson.  We did have some outstanding individual performances.  Carlos Negron and JD Holloway were both crown County Champions, while Edward Vergara took second.

East Hall High School’s Wrestling Team came away with victories over Towns County 45-36 and George Walton Academy 48-17 on Tuesday.  East Hall dropped their dual against Riverside Military Academy 45-26.Sophomore, Jerrod Rodgers scored pins in all three duals at 160lbs.  Other victories on the day came from: CJ Guadlock, Robert Williams, Felton Wood, Edward Vergara, Carlos Negron, Travis Foster, Kintavious Johnson, Tyler Thomas, JD Holloway and Gabriel Yopp.

The wrestling team lost a battle with Chestatee High School 21-55.  East Hall had wins on the night from Omar Lopez, Jesse Ingram, Edward Vergara, CJ Guadlock, and JD Holloway.  We are continuing to learn from mistakes and improve.

The Wrestling Team took 3rd place at today's D. Marlow Duals.  After losing first round we won three duals in a row, including wins over Elbert County 42-36 and East Jackson 52-22.
