GEORGIA DISTRICT NINE HONOR BAND (auditions held 12/10):

*Elliott Andrade (French Horn – 9th grade) *Seth Fowler (Trumpet – 10th grade)

*Elton Garcia (Trumpet – 10th grade) *Laura Graves (Tenor Saxophone – 9th grade)

*Aaron Jimenez (Tenor Saxophone – 10th grade) *Anthony Pacheco (Tuba – 12 grade)

Yajaira Rivas (Clarinet – 10th grade) *Rafael Rojas (Euphonium – 11th grade)

*Cesar Zamayoa (Trumpet – 11th grade) *Students scored selected to the second round.

GEORGIA ALL-STATE BAND (auditions held 1/10): Note: Students are placed regardless of region/class (A-AAAAA)

Again, this year we had the highest number of students selected in the county.  This is a tremendous accomplishment for these students, especially for Anthony and Rafael (places them in the top 5% of students in the state).  Please feel free to congratulate all.
