The Explorations in Technology program focuses on the use of computer technology to support student learning by accommodating the full range of learning styles, responding to special needs, and integrating technology into the curriculum. During the semester, students work in several learning modules designed to help them understand how technology is used in their lives.

The modules challenge students to reflect on classroom practice and philosophy so that technology is used effectively and with vision. Students use computers to organize data, to promote collaborative problem solving, to encourage learning, communication and research, and to support the creative process
