The Foreign Language Connections classes will introduce students to the basic skills needed to successfully study a language and will provide them with a positive initial experience to language  study. During the nine-week class, students will develop an awareness of other cultures and will learn basic words and phrases. The following languages will be studied:6th Grade - Language overview (Spanish, French, Latin, German,Italian, Japanese). 7th Grade - French 8th Grade - Spanish Topics studied in Spanish and French include: numbers, colors, greetings, time, family, classroom objects, parts of the house, geography of the French/Spanish-speaking world and general cultural topics. |
