The primary objective of this class is for the student to develop good work habits and good work ethic. Emphasis is placed on working cooperatively, being organized, keeping work areas neat and clean, and getting all assignments completed in a timely manner. Program topics included in the current FACS curriculum are Personal Development, Living Environments, Family Life, Nutrition and Wellness, Parenting and Child Care, and Resource Management. Additionally, we encourage participation in community service as our connection to our vocational student organization, FCCLA. |
