C.W. Davis Middle School opened in 1999 and is nestled in the foothills of the North Georgia Mountains, on the banks of Lake Sydney Lanier, less than a 45- minute drive from downtown Atlanta.

We are the southern most Hall County middle school, with our district extending to Gwinnett County. Our school is located in the historic city of Flowery Branch, which was established in 1874. The focus of C.W. Davis Middle School is to provide every student a well-rounded, quality education. Our school has a strong academic program that prepares students to perform on standardized tests and to be successful at the next academic level.

We have an exceptional faculty of 93 educators, including counselors and principals, with 50% having earned a masters degree or higher.  All students attend four 75-minute academic classes: mathematics, language arts, science, and social studies. Students are also enrolled in two connections classes per nine-week grading period. Connections classes include Business Education, Band, Chorus, Health, Physical Education, Family and Consumer Science, Computer Publishing, Art, Survey of Foreign Language, Drama, Spanish I, and Survey of Spanish.

C.W. Davis Middle School serves students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grades. Our mascot is the falcons and our school colors are red and black. All students at C.W. Davis Middle School wear uniforms. Information regarding uniforms may be found on the uniform page.
