Congratulations to Matthew Antoci

DMS 6th grader Matthew Antoci was the runner-up in the Hall County Spelling Bee on February 4.  Parker Ramey, 7th grader at DaVinci Academy, was the winner, edging out  Matthew for his third consecutive spelling bee championship.

The Bee went a record 29 rounds with Parker and Matthew setting
another record by going 20 rounds as finalists.

Mr. Ramey won on the spelling of "euphoric".  Both Ramey and Antoci
will advance to the District Spelling Bee.  Last year Parker advanced
through district and finished in the Top 10 at State.

Great job, Matthew.  We are proud of you!

Procedures for Requesting Make-Up Work for Student Absences

Due to the increasing number of student absences, please allow teachers 24 hours from the time you call or e-mail to get work to the front office.  In addition, please only request make-up work if your child will be absent more than one day.

PARENT PORTAL - UPDATING CONTACT INFO

It is very important that you update your contact info on parent portal by following below directions. The below contact info is used by our Hall Schools Messenger program when sending emergency messages, general notifications and attendance information.

After logging into Infinite Campus Parent Portal you will need to update your contact information by clicking on Change Contact Info (see below).

Enter or update your existing email address in the Email Address box. Only one email address is allowed. Please double check to make sure the email address has been entered correctly.

Check the phone number/s that you would like to receive calls on, you may choose more than one phone number. Please note we are not using Hall Schools Messenger at this time for Behavior and Teacher communications.

If you need to change a phone number that is listed you will need to contact your child’s school to have the number changed.

School Store

Spirit wear and school supplies are available in our school store.  The store is open on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8:05 am - 8:30 am.
