8th Grade Language Arts

All 8th grade students actively participate in reading and writing workshops in their language arts classes on a daily basis. Reading workshop allows student choice, introduces new authors and genres, and promotes a life-long love of reading. In writing workshop students follow the writing process to develop pieces that meet the Georgia Performance Standards.
