Cheerleadering

The middle school cheerleaders consist of current 7th and 8th grade students. These cheerleaders cheer during football season and basketball season. Tryouts are held in the spring each year for rising 7th and 8th grade students. All cheerleaders must maintain academic eligibility to tryout and to cheer.

Junior Varsity

Eighth grade students are eligible to tryout for the Junior Varsity competition squad at Chestatee High School. If they make the JV competition team, they can only compete at the high school. They are not allowed to cheer for the teams at the JV level, and they are not allowed to cheer at the middle school either. This is a rule from Hall County Board of Education Athletics.
