Welcome to Chestatee High School! We are a new school located in the beautiful, rolling hills of Northwestern Hall County in close proximity to the Chestatee River, the school's namesake. The word "Chestatee" is a Cherokee Indian term which, when translated to English means, "place of light." In literature, light is often symbolic of truth. Our main goal at Chestatee is to instill truth and knowledge in young people, thereby making our school a "place of light." We hope you enjoy your visit to our web site, but better yet, come visit us and you will be amazed at our incredible teaching staff, the beautiful, state-of-the-art facility, and extremely supportive community.
