Alternative Fuel Buses Set to Roll in Hall County PDF Print
Thursday, 12 April 2012
Jewel Armour, Executive Director of Transportation, has announced that the district is ready to put a fleet of twenty (20) LP fueled buses on routes in the near future.  With the roll out of these buses, the Hall County School District will become one of the few across the nation to add alternative fuel buses to their fleet.

Several key, significant factors led to Mr. Armour making the recommendation to add these buses, not the least of which is that they are much more fuel efficient than our current gasoline and diesel buses, costing around $2 a gallon compared to over $3.5 for diesel.
