System Launches "Digital High" PDF Print
Wednesday, 28 October 2009
Hall County Schools has launched a third “high” experience with Digital High.  Digital High follows in the same plans as Habitat and Hospitality Highs.  Digital High offers students interested in gaining hands-on experience in the interactive and online media marketing fields.   Full Media, a full-service multi-media marketing firm based in Gainesville, Georgia is hosting the first Digital High intern Dusty Staub.  Dusty, an honors student at North Hall High School, will be graduating in the spring.  “I just wanted an opportunity to explore this area as a potential career path for me prior to graduating from high school.  The opportunity to work in an actual business is really great,” says Staub. Dusty begin the semester with the Lake Lanier Conventions & Visitors Bureau updating and maintaining their website to gain initial experience with the industry. Full Media’s president, Davis White is excited about the partnership and the training opportunity that is being made available to students across Hall County.  Full Media offers a wide variety of services to their national clients including website design, search engine optimization, content management, and Internet marketing.   The partnership between Hall County Schools and Full Media represents another in a series of very successful arrangements between the schools and local businesses.  Habitat High is in its 5th program of building houses with Habitat for Humanity.  Hospitality High which partners with the Lake Lanier Islands Resort, the Lake Lanier Convention and Visitor’s Bureau, and several other hospitality businesses in the Hall County area, works to train students for a college and career preparedness in the Hotel and Travel industries.   The High Experiences are based out of Lanier Charter Career Academy which currently offers entry level courses for students across Hall County in Travel & Tourism, Culinary Arts, Digital Marketing, and Health Informatics.   For more information on the Digital High or Hospitality High programs offered by Hall County Schools, contact Rachael McClain at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it .  For more information on the Habitat High program, please contact Rodney Pressley at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it .
