Qualifications and Responsibilities of Student Council Members

1. Members should have A’s and B’s on their report cards.

2. Members should have Satisfactory or higher on the social skills side of their report card.

3. Members should not have any discipline records on file during the school year that they are elected and during the time they are a member.

4. Members should have a good attendance record.

5. Members should have the recommendation of their teacher and possess the following traits:

Dependable
Responsible
Good role model
Honest
Punctual
Leader

6. Members should be organized with the ability to plan ahead.

7. Please see the school store schedule. Please be here by 7:20 each morning on the weeks you are scheduled to work. If you cannot be here please let me know so I may schedule someone in your place.

7:00 am: Early Drop Off
7:20 am: Release to Classrooms
7:48 am: School Begins
2:17 pm: K-2nd Bus Riders Released
2:20 pm: 3rd-5th Bus Riders Released
2:23 pm: Car Riders Released

Please stay tuned on your radio to WDUN AM 55 for school closings during inclement weather. These announcements are usually placed on the air between 6:00 and 6:30 AM. Announcements are made on the Hall County School website as well. Staff members should check e mails regularly during inclement weather. Thank you to all staff members and parents for your patience and flexibility on March 2, 2009. Our wonderful Sardis staff accommodated students and moved through the day with no problem!
