About
the Media
Center
McEver Elementary School
Media Center has over a large collection of materials for every member of
our school family. We provide books to approximately 450 students, most who
have limited reading material at home. Students come to the media center
regularly for lessons to develop their information literacy skills and to
check out new books. Teachers sign up for additional time in the library
for story time and cooperative instruction. The library is always open and
students and staff are always welcome to check out books, take Accelerated
Reader quizzes, and receive help finding information. Please refer to
our Media
Center Manual to learn more about our circulation, collection,
services, policies, and schedules.
