McEver Elementary School

McPip: McEver's Parent Involvment Program

McEver Elementary School has partnered with Hall County Schools and Lanier Technical Institute to provide a variety of services for our famlies. McEver's parent center is a place where parents can come and use a room in our school as a resource center. McPip also helps parents access many programs and services that can benefit their families.

Each Wednesday from 11:15 - 12:15, grade-level workshops (Snack and Learns) are offered to parents on how to help their children succeed academically.  On Mondays and Wednesdays from 8:00 -10:00 am our parent liason, Joyce Payan offers an English, computer, and parenting class that teaches skills parents need to help their child in school. After the class, parents then volunteer in their child's classroom and around the school.

We encourage all parents to be active in the McEver learning community.
