Friendship Media Center Announcements

We will be accepting applications for media assistants again beginning in January.  All 4th and 5th grade students will have the chance to apply.  Listen to the morning news for more information. 

Our first book fair will be taking place in October.  The dates are October 29th - November 2nd. Family Night is Thursday, November 1st from 2:30 - 7:00 PM. 

The spring book fair will be February 5th - 12th. The Family Night is Thursday, February 7th from 2:30 - 7:00 PM. 

The 50% off book fair will be from May 12th -16th.  

Children's Book Week is celebrated from November 12th through the 16th.  Look for more information to be coming home including several special events that we will have planned that week.

Read Across America Week will be March 3rd - 7th. We will have several events to go along with this celebration. 

We will be continuing  the "Birthday Book Club."  When your child's birthday comes around, you can have the opportunity to purchase one of the books in the library to put your child's name and picture in.  If your child's birthday has already past, you may still purchase a birthday book for him/her.

These birthday books are kept in our library for everyone to checkout for many years to come!!
